The William and Ida Friday Center for Continuing Education is situated on quiet, beautifully landscaped grounds, with convenient access from all points within North Carolina's Research Triangle region (made up of Durham, Chapel Hill and Raleigh). The Friday Center provides an ideal setting for continuing education programs of all descriptions. This modern facility hosts more than 600 events with more than 50,000 participants annually. The building has twenty-three meeting areas, including a 420-seat auditorium.
The Friday Center is in the Central Piedmont section of North Carolina, near the state capital, three major research universities (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Duke University, North Carolina State University), the Raleigh-Durham International Airport, and the Research Triangle Park with a metropolitan area including Chapel Hill, Durham, and Raleigh.
The Friday Center has parking for 500 vehicles and is served by both public and private transportation services. Several bus routes of the Chapel Hill Transit system serve the Friday Center area.
